We're a community dedicated to connecting and empowering queer Arabs in Australia. Our mission is to create safe, inclusive spaces where people with shared backgrounds can come together, celebrate their identities, and foster meaningful connections.

Services & Programs

Queer Language Services

We offer specialised interpreting and translation services for Queer and LGBTQIA+ members from CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) backgrounds, provided by NAATI-certified queer language practitioners.

Zyara

Zyara is a social support program that is for queer Arabs, by queer Arabs, run in Arabic. It offers monthly support group sessions and community gatherings.

Queer Arabs Australia acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and acknowledges their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the Elders past and present.
